The kids are eating yogurt, another purchase leftover from the surgery. On the left is the compost pile, which is actually looking really good. And the garden on the right. So far we have roma tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, green peppers, basil, yellow squash, and zucchini. It's too late in the season to plant anything else right now, but in August I can plant a bunch of other stuff, including carrots and spinach. Yum. I cannot wait to see how this turns out, and I'm really having fun teaching the kids about growing things!
