He's not very happy, is he?

This kid was SO hyper when I got home from work today. I was thinking, what in the world did he do at the babysitter's house? Turns out Daddy picked him up early...Reese's Peanut Butter Cups are healthy, right?

Let Sleeping Babies Lie

This kid was dead to the world. He didn't hear me open the door, take his picture, or say his name. I even held his hand, and still nothing. He looked so adorable.

Morning pics, or, I love being a parent

I love this kid more and more every day. He is getting so big, and he's learning all sorts of new things. His two newest phrases are "thank you," and "help me." Everything is thank you--lunch, a ball, a diaper change--I always get a thank you. He's even attempting "please," though it doesn't really sound anything like it. And now that he knows how to say "help me," if he says it and you don't come to his aid in a microsecond, IT'S THE END OF THE WORLD! So we have a few things to work on.

We like hats...all kinds of hats

What are you gonna do?

This is what happens when you let grandparents visit. They let your child eat sugary banana bread mix with raw eggs at 8:15 in the morning without telling you. Then they take pictures of it with your camera and you find out when you download the pictures to your computer, and by that time they're long gone.

Just curious

What does a guy have to do to get a drink around here, anyway?

Hello, can you hear me now?

Our little daredevil

This child is fearless. Talk about an uneven surface, but he was determined to stand up and walk around and even tried to step on another suitcase. Good grief.

But it tastes so good!

This is the first time we've allowed him to have some of Grandma's famous banana bread (which is pretty much pure sugar). Shockingly enough, he liked it.

Ooh, call on me!

The hat

He has this new thing for the hat. He has to be wearing it AT ALL TIMES. He prefers to wear it with the bill covering his face, so he can walk around and bump into things and then laugh hysterically. However, I prefer it backwards, so he can walk around without covering himself in bruises.

New pics

Believe it or not, these are the best pictures I have taken of Brad in the past week. They're pretty much the only pictures I've taken. He's been slightly sick and grumpy, and I've been so sick I forwarded my mail to our bed. I don't think I've been this sick (with the exception of pregnancy) since I had bronchial pneumonia during college. However, I'm feeling better now (though I still sound like a 30-year chain-smoker), so here are my feeble attempts to capture the youth of my son for posterity.
